Kings Cottage is ideally situated to explore the many local attractions, as well as being perfectly positioned for business persons needing quick access to the N3 and M13 freeways, and King Shaka International Airport (30min away).

The cottage combines comfort and convenience being only 2.5 km from the Pavilion shopping centre and the Westville Hospital, and ±10km from the International Convention Centre, Durban's beach front and sports stadia.

As the cottage is away from the main house, privacy is ensured. The open plan layout is airconditioned and comprised of the bedroom area with king size/twin beds opening into a lounge with DSTV and MNet. The lounge has a double sleeper couch.  French doors lead from the lounge onto a private covered patio area, ideal for al fresco meals. A fully equipped kitchen alcove and an en suite with shower completes this fresh and modern facility. The patio provides access down to the swimming pool and park-like garden. Secure parking is conveniently situated within metres of the cottage.


  • A Continental or full English breakfast is offered for Bed and Breakfast guests and dinner is available by arrangement. In addition, there is a fully equipped kitchenette.
